Trusted Tip:Talk to the Prof!
Schedule an office hours visit this week. Bring one completed "Exam Wrapper"—a simple reflection tool that helps you analyze how you prepared and why you missed certain points—to discuss with your professor. Need one? Email us for a FREE TGD Exam Wrapper Guide.
Struggling to Start? Copy and paste: Dr. XX, I noticed I struggled with the application/essay/multiple choice questions on the last assessment. I wonder if we could look at my exam wrapper together so I can find the gap in my prep before the final? I’m planning to come to XX office hours; is that the best time for us to meet or should I schedule an appointment? Thank you!

Grow: Shift Your Mindset:
Remember, the exam doesn’t end with viewing the grade in your portal. The final step is actually reflecting on the assessment! And, when we treat professors as teammates, it turns a grade into a strategy session where we investigate the data together.

From Dr. Jerome to Bob…
We are just back from spring break travel and feeling so refreshed after that intentional family time. There is nothing like a little unplugging to make us feel deeply connected and ready to jump back into the flow of the semester.

Last week, we talked about hopping into the driver's seat by taking control of your accommodations. The best drivers work with their crew chief to understand the track. During Tabitha’s undergrad years, she managed to ace Microeconomics even though she missed her fair share of lectures.
Okay... the secret wasn't skipping class; it was what she did afterward. Tabitha took her study guides and old tests directly to Dr. Jerome’s office hours to ask, "What did I miss here?" By the end of the semester, they were on a first-name basis, and Tabitha had the inside track on exactly how Bob framed his questions. Talk to the Prof!
